Brain Ache

I’m busy revising. Two topics down out of four, for tomorrow’s Property 2 exam. I think its going to be okay, but I’m not looking forward to learning all of the employment work on Friday night. I think that will be a bit of a nightmare. Hopefully It will be okay, I did put some effort into that over the past few days.

Last night I had the opportunity to travel to Newcastle and see Party Garbage off. They are very nice guys. We put them on at the Practice Room a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. Also on the bill, Offshore Radio, who didn’t play in the end because Emma had an exam, Die Emergency and the nice ONSIND boys. Everyone was good.

So I was flying solo at the End Bar, which is a pretty new venue by the Life Centre. I hear it used to be a gay bar. Its got some cool graffiti inside. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable size. Good stage area. Hope to play there one day.

I picked up the ONSIND Record. Gave it a listen today and immediately thought “Mint. Its the one that goes, – I never took a single thing for granted.” Good tune. Had a nice chat with Nathan about lyrics and pressing plants. Think they’re going to be on the bill with Ghost Mice… rumoured to be playing at Dan’s house.

I was delighted to see Hub show up as usual. Talked about whether Nylon and Silk were vegan. Dan made out with the Party Garbage singer. Pretty hilarious.

Had a pretty funny idea for some video. Cant wait to do some more stuff when my exams are over. Craving the weekend but fear going out will be unwise what with a Public Law exam on Monday which I haven’t started preparing for.
